I, DERMOT AHERN, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1(2) of the Private Security Services Act 2004 (No. 12 of 2004), order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Private Security Services Act 2004 (Commencement) Order 2008. | ||
2. The 1st day of December 2008 is fixed as the day on which section 37 of the Private Security Services Act 2004 (No. 12 of 2004) comes into operation in so far as it refers to a provider of protected forms of transport referred to in paragraph (f) of the definition of “security service” in section 2(1) of that Act. | ||
