CUSTOMS-FREE AIRPORT (EXTENSION OF LAWS) REGULATIONS 2009 | ||

I, MARY COUGHLAN, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13(2) (inserted by section 49 of the Air Navigation and Transport Act 1988 (No. 15 of 1988)) of the Customs-free Airport Act 1947 (No. 5 of 1947) (as adapted by the Enterprise and Employment (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 1997 ( S.I. No. 305 of 1997 )) and with the consent of the Minister for Transport and the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Customs-free Airport (Extension of Laws) Regulations 2009. | ||
(2) These Regulations come into operation on 1 September 2009. | ||
2. The Control of Exports (Goods and Technology) Order 2009 ( S.I. No. 305 of 2009 ) shall extend to the Customs-free Airport. | ||
3. The Customs-Free Airport (Extension of Laws) Regulations 2005 ( S.I. No. 885 of 2005 ) are revoked. | ||
The Minister for Transport consents to the making of the foregoing Regulations. | ||

The effect of these Regulations is to extend the provisions of the Control of Exports (Goods and Technology) Order 2009 ( S.I. No. 305 of 2009 ) to the Customs-free Airport. |
