SEA-FISHERIES (PROSECUTION OF OFFENCES) ORDER 2009 | ||

The Government, on the request of the Attorney General and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 39(1) of the Sea-Fisheries and Maritime Jurisdiction Act 2006 (No. 8 of 2006), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Sea- Fisheries (Prosecution of Offences) Order 2009. | ||
2. The day appointed for the purposes of section 39(1) of the Sea-Fisheries and Maritime Jurisdiction Act 2006 (No. 8 of 2006) is 1 August 2009, being the day from which the Director of Public Prosecutions is the prosecutor, in lieu of the Attorney General, of sea-fisheries offences as specified in that subsection. | ||
