S.I. No. 285/2025 - Appointment of Special Adviser (Minister of State at the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science) Order 2025

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 24th June, 2025.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 11 (1) of the Public Service Management Act 1997 (No. 27 of 1997), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Appointment of Special Adviser (Minister of State at the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science) Order 2025.

2. Jim O’Brien, particulars of whose address have been deposited at the offices of the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, is appointed to be a Special Adviser to Marian Harkin, Minister of State at the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, with effect from 25 February 2025.
