Provision for payment of deputies to divisional justices.

17. [Recital of 34 & 35 Vict. c. 76. s. 11. as to payment of deputies to divisional justices of Dublin police district.]

Whenever after the passing of this Act a deputy is appointed by any of the said divisional justices under such of the provisions of the said section as relate to the case of the sickness or unavoidable absence of any of the said justices, there shall be paid to such deputy, out of moneys to be provided by Parliament, remuneration for his services as such deputy, at such daily rate and subject to such conditions as the Treasury may from time to time prescribe.
