TEA (IMPORTATION AND DISTRIBUTION) ACT, 1956 (CONTINUANCE) ACT, 1958. | ||||||||||
AN ACT TO EXTEND THE PERIOD DURING WHICH THE TEA (IMPORTATION AND DISTRIBUTION) ACT, 1956 , IS TO CONTINUE IN FORCE. [19th March, 1958.] | ||||||||||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:— | ||||||||||
The Principal Act. |
1.—In this Act, “the Principal Act” means the Tea (Importation and Distribution) Act, 1956 (No. 20 of 1956). | |||||||||
Continuance of the Principal Act. |
2.—(1) The Principal Act, unless previously terminated under subsection (2) of this section, shall continue in force until the expiration of the 30th day of June, 1958. | |||||||||
(2) The Government may by order declare that the Principal Act shall expire on the expiration of a specified day, being a day earlier than the 30th day of June, 1958, and in that case the Principal Act shall expire accordingly. | ||||||||||
(3) Section 1 of the Principal Act is hereby repealed. | ||||||||||
Short title. |
3.—This Act may be cited as the Tea (Importation and Distribution) Act, 1956 (Continuance) Act, 1958. |
