HEALTH (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1994 | ||||||||
AN ACT TO ENABLE DENTAL HEALTH SERVICES TO BE MADE AVAILABLE WITHOUT CHARGE TO CERTAIN CHILDREN WHO HAVE ATTENDED NATIONAL OR CERTAIN OTHER SCHOOLS. [16th May, 1994] | ||||||||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS: | ||||||||

Free dental health services for certain children. |
1.—(1) A health board shall make available without charge, for children who have attended a national school or a school standing specified in an order under section 66 (3) of the Health Act, 1970 , and are of or under such age as may be specified by the Minister by regulations, such dental health services as may be so specified. | |||||||
(2) The Minister may make regulations for the purposes of this section. | ||||||||

Short title, collective citation and construction. |
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Health (Amendment) Act, 1994. | |||||||
(2) The Health Acts, 1947 to 1991, and this Act may be cited together as the Health Acts, 1947 to 1994. | ||||||||
(3) The Health Acts, 1947 to 1991, and this Act shall be construed together as one. | ||||||||
