Amendment of section 8 of Residential Institutions Redress Act 2002. |
1.— Section 8 of the Residential Institutions Redress Act 2002 is amended by inserting the following subsections after subsection (3): | |
“(4) Notwithstanding the provisions of this Act, the Board shall not consider an application under this section that is made on or after 17 September 2011. | ||
(5) The Board shall, not later than 6 weeks before the date subsequently mentioned in this subsection, publish a notice to the effect that the Board shall not consider an application under this section that is made on or after 17 September 2011 in— | ||
(a) Iris Oifigiúil, | ||
(b) 2 daily newspapers circulating in the State, and | ||
(c) 2 daily newspapers circulating in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.”. |
