Assistant barrister may order costs to be paid by one or more of the defendants in ejectment.

It shall and may be lawful for the assistant barrister or recorder, upon the hearing of any ejectment, where there shall be more than one defendant, upon his pronouncing a decree, to order and direct that the costs of such ejectment proceedings shall be paid by and recovered from one or more of such defendants by name, and not from the other or others of them.
